Dr. Walker performed surgery for a ruptured ACL and torn meniscus on my 10 year old Havanese. He has recovered beautifully until 4 months later, he did the same think to his other leg. We are waiting surgery and as Dr. Walker said. The good news is Gus doesn't have anymore legs to have the same problem in. That's what he got from chasing squirrels. Dr. Walker is an excellent doctor and very attentive to both the patient and parent.

Do NOT trust your Pet to DC Vets Dr. Walker! We had an absolutely horrific Experience, I have gotten the professional opinion of Multiple vets and Surgeons on a surgey he performed on my Dog. There were multiple issues with the surgery that any qualified surgeon would not have made. I had to have a surgery redone after putting my dog through 14 weeks of recovery he now has to go through 8 more. A surgeon literally asked me if Dr Walker was board certified after seing the job he did. Im horrified, and 0 assistance from dr walker on the second surgery to fix his mistakes! LOOK ELSWHERE! Dr walker also likes to push the blame for his mistakes on others beware! For the sake of your pet avoid avoid avoid! I am happy to share xrays with anyone that requests it. but beware, they will make you sick!

Dr Walker performed TPLO on my 6 yr old Lab at the beginning of November. I am amazed at my dog’s recuperation. He seems way ahead of schedule, I’m constantly holding him back.I was really impressed with the admiration the techs had for his skill and precision. Dr. Walker performed his surgery at our vet’s clinic in Frederick, MD which was very convenient for us.
