Dr. Riedel treats animals but, when it was time to put our elderly dog to sleep, she helped to ease MY suffering, too. She reassured me that we had done absolutely everything medically possible to keep her comfortable, and that it was indeed the right time to let her go. It was still one of the hardest things I've ever done, but I've had the peace of mind to grieve my loss without the additional pain of doubting my decision.
