All of the staff, including Dr. Cheryl are amazing at Essex Vet. Dr. Cheryl Brienza is very attentive to our weims and she always follows up with us. She has given us very valuable advice. Also, all the staff is wonderful, especially MJ and Joelle. They are caring, conscientous and always respond. We rely on their advice and they care about Hunter and Buddy's wellbeing. When Beau was sick and being treated by a specialist they always called to check in and see how Beau was doing. When Beau passed the animal hospital notified Essex Vet and they called with condolences. We would not bring our pets anywhere else.

Dr. Schaffer is very thorough in examining our dogs and he understands their personalities. He talks to them not just to us. However, he always asks questions and listens to our answers. He is extremely kind and not at all defensive if we make a suggestion in regard to their care or treatment. He follows through when we have a question. He often calls the morning following a visit to see if things are OK. Dr. Schaffer is a wonderful person and veterinarian. Wouldn't trade him for the world!
