Two stories:1) My big Boxer Apollo had been chronically ill and under the wonderful care of Dr. Rennie. One day he took a turn for the worse and I took him in. Dr. Rennie called several specialists in and they worked with him all afternoon. When the bad news came that he had a terminal leaking anuerysm and the decision was made to humanely put him to sleep, they set up a private room so that I and those who cared about him could love him, talk with him, and be with him that evening to the end. Within a few days of his death, I received a wonderful sympathy card from Dr. Rennie and the staff.2) My little Chihuahua mix, Yoda, jumped off the bed and broke her leg just before the Vet's office was to close. Dr. Rennie and her staff took care of us and "officially" diagnosed a severe leg fracture. She put Yoda in a soft cast and called the Specialist hospital so they could be waiting for us. After surgery to repair the fracture, Dr. Rennie did all of her cast changes and follow-up care. Dr. Rennie is a wonderful Vet who puts the animals first. She is very compassionate with the animals and the owners. My animals know she is helping them and they trust her. So do I. I cannot think of another Vet more deserving of recognition.
