We are missing our little Codi terribly. His brother (from the same litter) is walking around with his tail down because he misses him too. I am praising God that we didn’t have to make the decision to have him put to sleep.
I want to give a thankful shout out to Dr Cotton and her staff who took excellent care of our sweet boy. They treat their patients and owners like family. They grieve right along with us each time we’ve had to say goodbye to a much loved fur baby. Yesterday was no different. We wanted to see Codi before they sent him for cremation. Even in this time of COVID-19 and social distancing, they still let us in to spend a few minutes with our baby. Dr Cotton stood right next to us grieving with us and talked to us about our sweet Codi. We love her and her staff. As far as the Wilson’s are concerned they are the best in Johnston County.

Recently we had to have our corgi "Rascal" put to sleep because of renal failure. It was a terrible ordeal, and when it came to the day, Dr. Cotton cried along with us. She is always comforting and willing to go out of her way to do what is needed and is always helpful when the "dollars" aren't available but treatment is still needed. Her staff is warm, friendly and remember who you are everytime you come in. While our baby was in the clinic she allowed us to come in 3 times a day to bring him his favorite foods so he would eat for them. We wouldn't trust our new baby "Doc" to any other vet.
