After a three month battle with cancer, I had to make the heartbreaking decision to put our almost 10 year old Chocolate Lab to sleep on New Year's eve, 2010. Dr Hummell was so kind. She treated Hershey in the months prior, and was almost as sad as I was that Hershey had lost her fight with the disease. Dr. Hummell came in the room and gave Hersh a big hug and kisses. She told me to take my time..to stay as long as I needed to say goodbye. When I was finally able to leave, she was waiting for me, and expressed her condolences. Being that I was by myself, it really meant a lot, and I believed her. Their promise is "to provide compassionate, affordable veterinary care throughout the lifetime of your pet." She more than lived up to that promise duing a very difficult time for me. Thank you, Dr. Hummell!
