I have taken my dogs to Dr. Duty since 2007, Prissy, then Rebel, and now Maggie and Georgia. She has always provided my fur babies with the best care and was kind to them as she did what she had to do. We all know that some time that is not easy to do. The hardest thing for me was when I decided that my boy Rebel had suffered enough pain with cancer in his leg. Dr. Duty helped me and the family as we worked through this process and made it as easy and comfortable as it could be. Now she does the same with my two girls. They come in glad to see her and she gives them shots and sometimes i think they never feel them. She is an angel! I would be remiss if I did not add that her other vet and the entire crew are equally as caring and effective at their work as well. I will not take my girls anywhere else.

Dr. Byrd pays attention to every detail of my Boston terrier Zoey , who just had her yearly physical. I’ve been going to this hospital since I had my last pet poodle that passed in a few years ago . Dr. Byrd goes above and beyond for each and every animal and makes you feel like you’re each getting special treatment. Her staff keeps you informed of all procedures , labs , vaccines are for , and the staff lets me know the cost anticipated before we do each lab work , vaccine , exam, meds, etc.
Animal Hospital of Kannapolis also gives 10% off to veterans / military with proof of ID. Dr. Byrd has love and compassion for my fur baby as I’m sure she does all of them and she has great rapport with the owners.
