Dr. Cortes has been amazing! We came in to CVS after being waitlisted else where for 6 month. Denali was slowly loosing his ability to walk and play and could never keep up with our other dogs. Cortes saw us SAME DAY! The first THR went flawlessly but complications arose with 2 femoral fractures. Denali has had 2 total hips, 4 plates and 4 circlages. Last night denali, walked, pranced, jogged and ran!! Denali had never completed a walk let alone run since he was a puppy. 1 year old Denali can run jump and play with the other dogs. He even discovered his new favorite sport… chasing chickens 100yds on my mothers farm. We could never have done this without Dr. Cortes on his team. We recently realized we are still waitlisted with NC State. Dr. Cortes has spent hours on the phone walking us through every step of the way, consulting mentors and other experts in the field about what is best for Denali. This has been a difficult 6 months but Dr. Cortes has truely done Denali well and we are so greatful for his work and the service PETSBEST has provided. Please take this recommendation into consideration seriously to allow Dr. Cortes to continue doing what he has done for our family with others. Thank you for your time and consideration and help us show our continued gratitude to Dr. Cortes.

Dr Claudia is our gift from God. She helped my husband and I treat our dog Otis when he had cancer and was as loving and caring as anyone could ever imagine. Unfortunatly it became time for Otis to go to Heaven but she couldn't have treated him or us with more compassion and love. Shortely after Otis passed his sister ended up having a ruptured spleen which of course was cancer. Dr. Beldegreen at Stoney Creek Animal Hosptial did life saving surgery on her which we will be forever grateful. Once again we had to reach out to Dr. Claudia our guardian angel to treat our Lilly for her cancer. She gave her the best quality of life and treated her and Otis like they were her own babies. Although Dr. Claudia is younger than I am I aspire to be as wonderful as she is at being a loving and caring human being. She is and will alwasy be the best thing that ever happended to our family since moving to Charlotte, NC from NJ. I truely believe she is a gift from God for all of the animals she treats and for their families. Thank you Claudia you are our Angel and we will love you forever for being as kind and compassionate as you were to our family.
