Dr. Scott has been working with Bella for about 2yrs. Bella is a rescue and has some trust issues and anxieties that we have been working with since I got her and Dr. Scott has been wonderful! She is so patient with Bella and Bella loves her! Recently we had a scare where bella lost about 10 lbs yet she was eating ravenously. Every other vet I spoke to immediately said cancer and recommended hundreds of dollars in testing! But Dr. Scott took her time looking for a simpler solution and it turns out Bella just had a horrible case of tape worms (from being around my dad's dog who had fleas) even though they were not showing in her stool. She saved me hundreds of dollars by fixing the problem instead of charging me hundreds for xrays or ultrasounds. Bella was back to herself in no time. Bella will be seeing Dr.Scott for the rest of her life.

Dr Lackey is the best of the best. We first net her when I toke Princess in for her well check after we adopted her. Everything was fine except her teeth, she was 2 1/2 at that time and she had a tooth that was in bad shape so that meant a dental cleaning and an extraction of the tooth. Dr Lackey was wonderful in the way she handled Princess, being a shelter rescue, she had been in about 3 different ones her entire life. Just watching how Dr Lackey, I knew that Princess was in good hands. She treats me and my Princess as if we were the only pets she sees. When I brought Rudy in for his first puppy visit after adopting him at 12 weeks, once again it was if Rudy was the only one in the building for her to see that evening. I see and hear the care that she gives not only my pets, but the others as well. She truly has a calling in what she does. Her concern is the welfare of those she takes care of where it is annual visits or emergency, and those puppy visits that she and the whole staff enojoys. Dr. Lackey is so very deserving of this nomination! She is highly recommended to anyone looking for a Vet for their new or existing pets.
