Dr. Powers has a heart of gold and cares about her individual patients.. She truly cares about the pet's well being and is not in it for financial gain. We had a sick parrot several years ago and she cut costs in half, charged us for our pet being boarded instead of the full price of 24 hour care in an oxygen tank and did many other things that she didn't have to do so that money wouldn't be an issue in the treatment of our sweet girl. She called other exotic vets around the country and sent Matti's lab results to them for additional opinions. She researched issues after hours because her symptoms were unusual. When poor Matti lost her life, she did so in Dr. Powers loving hands. She called US crying because she was genuinely upset that Matti had passed. After a necropsy it was determined that Matti had an abscess on her heart which couldn't be detected and even if it could, there is not treatment for this genetic fluke. She has treated all of our birds with the utmost care and I can't say enough about her. My hope is that although she is not a traditional vet caring for cats and dogs, this exotic vet needs to get the recognition she deserves.

Dr Beeson and Villageway are the BEST! Bruno at 8 weeks old Bruno got in to some mice bait and had to go to emergency vet since it was the weekend. He had is follow up with Dr Beeson and his first set up puppy shots. Due to the expense of the emergency vet Dr Beeson gave me a break on the price of the shots and did lab work in office to also try and save me some cost. He is very good with all animals. He shows geniuine concern and compassion for the pet and the pets owner. I have another dog Apollo who is now 6 he has been going to Villageway since I rescued him 5 years ago. He has neutered Apollo and Bruno is set up for his procedure May 5th. I know he is in the best of care and will get lots of love and attention while he is there. I also previously had a cat whom they neutered. Staff are all pleasant and I would not go anywhere else for my pets care. Unless it happened to be emergency on the weekend again. Wish I hope never happens Villageway is not in business to break you they are there to provide loving care for our forever friends. Villageway is the Only way for me!!!
