Dr. Knope is not only a sincere animal lover, but also a down to earth, fun person. I have never felt so comfortable with any other vet, ever. She is now the ONLY vet I will allow my pets to see (except for emergencies, of course). My babies are my entire world and Dr. Knope treats them as such. I love her to pieces and so do my fur babies!

My husband and I have always had "throw away pets." One tiny kitty we loved was "One-eyed Jack". He had a diseased eye and had to be sent to Columbia, Missouri, Veterinary Hospital for treatment and surgery. We made several trips before the actual day of surgery. I took Jack to Columbia for the surgery but had to return home. I planned on returning the next day but Jack died during surgery. Dr. Roche left her clinic and came to my home to be with me until my husband got home from work so we could travel to Columbia to pick up our baby. That is just one act of kindness - she has done many more for us (and I am sure we are not the exception, that she does it for all) like making house calls and even coming to our home to euthanize one of our kitties because she was so afraid to go the car. Dr. Roache is an angel in disguise. I bet she has wings underneath her skin. She understands my love and commitment to our furry friends. We are so much alike and we love her very much. She and her husband have been our vets since we moved to Springfield in 1986. Her commitment to her clients and their "humans" is absolutely undescribable. She is outstanding in every way. I can't imagine trusting anyone else with our babies.
