Dr. Nahrwold became our vet in 2008. My dog at the time, now deceased, needed several cysts removed. I got a second opinion from Dr. Nahrwold whose surgery quote was a lot less and he has been our vet since. We currently have a dog we rescued a few months ago. For the past five years, Dr. Nahrwold has never not been available. If his office is closed, you can call him at home. He has all the latest equipment so he and I can see my pet's heart beats, blood pressure, inner ear infections, etc. He has a laser therapy machine to release pain in animals. He is so responsive that he never says I don't have time to see your pet. He met my husband and I at his clinic on a Sunday evening to end my other dog's suffering from Lymphoma. If he prescribes a medication that doesn't work, you can return it for partial credit. He is thorough when examing animals. When I schedule an appointment for one thing, then ask him to also trim nails and empty anal glands, he never says make a new appointment, he does what I ask. I have called Dr. Nahrwold on holidays because of a worry and he told me what to try and if that didn't work to bring my pet in. Pet health and comfort are his number one priority and his caring is why I nominate him.
