The Crew knows every dogs name by heart as well as their condition. They genuinely care. The hospital is spotless.the reassure always reasure you. They have costume parties, cookies and cake. Goodies for people. They take free pictures. You have raffles for pet supplies.Dr. Evelyn gives discount to seniors like myself on supplies.She is the best. Excellent care!! Has animals up for adoption. It's not a hospital. It's a home away from home. Gosh, I drive anywhere for the last 11 yes. Even an hour away to see her.Her mom and husband visit and help out. They bring the family cat. I took my dog to an emergency hospital. The wanted to surgery and said he had a very serious condition almost $6000.00. I said no, I'd take him to see his Dr. Evelyn. Her findings, no exrays needed. No surgery needed, no anything, use the pain meds they gave him. Total cost $200.00. I love her, I love her and would even trust her with my life. Even if it took me 4 days to see her, I would. I love her, BARK loves her, everyone that visits love her. She even calls to see how your pet is doing after a procedure. She is by far I've ever met, in my very young 70yr. Younger life. The best vet in the entire world. Warm & fun to see our other pet friends. Can't wait until Halloween so we can dress up. My story starts in 2000 when my oldest son brought us a little skinny dog named Colby. He was a rat terrier mix who was very shy but smart. We lived in Sellersburg at the time and ofcourse needed a vet to check him out. Carepets was the closets so we took him there. That is were we met Dr. Evinger. To make the story short, she took care of him for 12 years untill we had to do the hardest thing I think I have ever done. He had kidney failure at 13. So we all came together all the kids and grandkids to say good bye. Both grandkids came home from the hospital to Colby. He loved to protect them so he tnought he was doing, when they came to visit. The clinic was so sweet and just as sad as we were since they new him so well. He always stayed there when we traveled and was groomed there so he was there frequently. He always got to see uncle Todd as well whom he loved. They have a room for you to spend the last few hours with them. It was peaceful even though it was sad. I now have Buster who I adopted almost 3 years ago and he is now under their care too. Would not of thought a minute about going anywere else for him. I have made the story short for submitting purpose but Buster is a special dog since I lost my husband to cancer last year. Lets just say he is a blessing and my husband did get go spend a year with him since he had not been diagnosed with cancer when he came into our lives and I am glad I have Dr. Evinger to take care of him.
