Dr. Handel and his staff have been amazing for our family. Our cockapoo, Darwin, had an issue with his liver a few years back and our previous vet could not figure out what was wrong.Many prescriptions we found Dr. Handel who walked us through the treatment options and we found a combination of traditional and herbal remedies that brought Darwin's little liver back into healthy working order. The most important thing for us is to be able to better understand the health of our pets and what we can do to treat them or keep them healthy; Dr. Handel and the Kentlands Veterinary Clinic staff have done exactly that. As another note: in the last year we moved from Maryland to Virginia and we still think that it is absolutely worth it to make the hour long drive to see a vet that we trust.
