Topper fell from a groomer's table and sustained a compacted vertabrae he did not use his rear legs for almost three weeks. My wife and I did not what we should do with him. My wife's brother suggested trying a chiropatric vet. We had never heard of one so my wife got on the computer to look for one. She found Dr. Payton about 15 miles away. When we took Topper for his first appointment, Dr. Payton said that he would not adjust Topper's spine because he could possibly do more harm than good so he recommended an accupuncher treatment. The very next day Topper started using his rear legs although keeping them stiff legged. Topper now is running, stiffed legged, and is probably about the best he'll get. The injury happened inapril 2013 and Topper now goes in every 1012 weeks for adjustments and an accupuncher treatment. Topper shakes with fear when he goes but as soon as Dr. Payton comes into the room he stops shaking. We believe it is because Topper remembers that Dr. Payton is the who helped him to use his rear legs again.
