As of May 31st, 2023, Pets Best has resumed offering new policies to customers in California. Existing customers can add additional pets by visiting their Customer Account online or through our mobile apps.
Update as of March 1, 2023 at 8am PST for California Pet Parents:
As of March 1st, 2023, Pets Best has temporarily paused offering new policies to customers in California. Existing customers will not be impacted by this change. We have been working closely with our underwriter and the California Department of Insurance to gain approval to again sell policies in the State of California in the coming months.
At Pets Best, our commitment has always been, and remains, to offer pet parents the most comprehensive, personalized, and affordable pet health insurance coverage. We have seen significant growth over the past several years, and are proactively working with our underwriter and the California DOI to make sure we have the best product available to pet parents.
