About the Ragdoll

Weight:  male 12-20; female 10-14

Points of conformation: This large cat has a heavy-set muscular build with medium sized head in a wedge shape.  They possess a full muzzle with medium to short nose and wide set ears. Paws are large and round and tail is long and bushy.

Coat: Semi-long hair coat is very fine and glossy and shorter around the head and forelimbs.  Some describe the coat as a single hair coat, whereas others describe it as possessing minimal undercoat.

Color: Pointed (chocolate, seal, lilac and blue), Van (pigmented mask, ears and tail), Mitted (white on forefeet, ruff, chin and hocks), and Bi-color.

Grooming needs: Low matting tendency, with low to moderate grooming needs.

Origin: California, United States

Behavior Traits: Docile and adaptable.
